Every month co-creators of the Divine Dog Wisdom Cards and Cosmic Cat Cards and Guidebooks Barb Horn and Randy Crutcher draw a card from each deck of 60+ cards, after asking for guidance around a central theme for the month.

We’re all experiencing intense beginnings and endings that are exposing our core values, asking us to take bold action from the foundation we’ve been building.

We can think of our souls as a multi-story building. When we are on the first floor our view is limited to up and down the block. Our questions are simple such as where will we eat?  Experiences, circumstances, destiny and fate expose our vulnerabilities, strengths, joys, pains and desires. None of us escapes the universal human condition. When we become aware we choose when and how we move up floors in the sacred building of our souls. The higher up we go, the more we can see– several blocks, a mile or so and eventually all the way to the horizon. Our questions expand as well: Who am I, why am I here, how can I serve and allow life to move through me versus me moving life?

Each floor we move up requires humility and flexibility.  A humble acceptance of the reality that we are not the master controllers of the universe. We are at our best when we surrender, trust and open up to the vast creative energy we embody. This requires whole-hearted trust in the Divine within us.  We can move through and beyond our fear of humiliation and we can bless and release old beliefs that don’t serve our expansion and evolution anymore.

Becoming more flexible allows us to bend in the wind like a willow while staying firmly planted in the ground. We can step into the flow of natural well-being and allow the water to take us to our next level.  Whether it’s a rapid, a swirling eddy, or wave moving us through life, we can know deep down we are ok and have all we need. No matter what’s going on around us, we’re amazing, beautiful and enough right now.
