Hear the Voice, Make A Choice and Do The Next Right Thing

Some who’ve seen Disney’s recently released animated musical, Frozen 2, may recognize our theme words as lyrics in a song. We think it’s a pretty good mantra for this month and for the whole year of 2020, one that will provide its own unique challenges, surprises and transformations.
There is much still up in the air as the Conundrum card suggests. Wouldn’t you agree? When in a conundrum we are forced to surrender, to trust, to have faith in the unknown, to get comfortable with the uncomfortable place we seem to be in, view it as a puzzle or riddle to be solved….but not all at once. Part of working with conundrums is first developing a larger perspective, what some may call the 30,000 foot view. This year is big. We finally arrive at the Age of Aquarius after plowing through the last of the Pisces Age, where we’ve often found ourselves swimming upstream. And from an evolutionary framework, it’s not too late or too soon to ask: How will the future 20-50-500 years from now depend on what we think, decide and act on now?
The really cool thing about conundrums is that they draw out resources we didn’t remember or know we had, they connect us with what is important and give us permission to let go of what no longer serves us. That’s how we get back to Earth!
If there was one skill to develop, refine or fine tune this year, it could be Empathy. And again, in the largest sense of that word. It’s about learning to see and hear others and their essence, who they really are and what they need and want, beginning with ourselves. Empathy is connection and more than ever we are seeing how everything is connected. The US vs THEM paradigm of Pisces is breaking down very transparently in our own lives and what we see in our larger world.
As you use whatever tools work for you (and we provide a few of them), getting clear about your passions, what makes your heart sing and brings you alive, what resounds as the highest note in your life’s musical score is the note to be paying the most attention to in 2020. Too much energy is squandered sitting up in the tree focused on what’s wrong, waiting for others to make things right. Sorry, NOT gonna happen!
What CAN happen is the miracle of positive manifestation— when we are facing the music head on, tuning into our empathy and compassion, then living and serving from that place.
